Polestar Technologies Unveils Flow Cell Sensors for Disposable Bioprocessing
Needham Heights, Massachusetts - Polestar Technologies, a leader in optical sensor technologies, announces the launch of its Flow Cell pH and dissolved oxygen sensor for single use bioprocessing in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Flow cells can be integrated into the tubing of the bioprocess system, are pre-calibrated, can be gamma sterilized or autoclaved and are made of all USP Class VI materials. Flow cells can be easily adapted to the diameter of the tubing in any bioprocessing system or can be customized for specific applications. Polestar's flow cells are used with the DSP series optical monitors that allow users to continuously monitor pH or dissolved oxygen on four independent channels. Polestar's flow cells and DSP monitors can be used to streamline new process development and optimize processing conditions to improve yields.
