Tri-Clamp Sanitary Cap Sensors (Flange Probes)

Polestar’s tri-clamp sanitary cap sensor or flange probe is uniquely designed for use in applications where ease of cleaning and/or minimal obstruction of flow is important. The probe can incorporate any of Polestar’s replaceable fluorescent-sensing films, enabling in-line measurement of O2, pH or CO2. The replaceable sensing films load into the probe body after removing the integral fiber optic connector, which is used to connect the probe to one of Polestar’s DSP series optical process monitors via Polestar’s rugged fiber optic cable. An optional integrated Pt100 RTD for temperature correction is also available. Tri-clamp sanitary cap flange probes are made of electro polished (8 RMS) and passivated 316L stainless steel, and are available in 1.5” and 2” diameters. Additional diameters are available upon request.
